Site Rules

Before a visitor can register to become a member of your site they must read and agree to the rules you set-up here.

Default Meta Title

This will be placed on all pages on which the meta tag fields can not or are not used.

Domain Name

This is very Important: If your site's domain name is not typed in correctly many functions on this site will not operate properly.

Example: mydomanename.org

Site Name

This will appear in the body of auto response email.

Email Verification

We highly recommend that you have this set to Yes. When ever a members registration is submitted, an email verification will automatically be sent out. This will assure that a real working address belonging to that potential member, is correct

Auto Accept New Member Applications

If yes is selected, members will be able to join the site without approval. The site administrator can still edit, deactivate, or delete a member.

Auto Accept New Images

If yes is selected, members will be able to upload and see their images instantly on their profile page. The site administrator still can edit, delete, or add an image warning whether auto accept is turned on or off.

Auto Accept New Videos

If yes is selected, members will be able to upload and see their videos instantly on their profile page. The site administrator still can edit, delete, or add an videos warning whether auto accept is turned on or off.

Use Background Process For Bulk Email

This option is only for sites that need to send email out to thousands of members at a time. Special hosting is needed for this function to work properly. If you need this option please contact VAM Software.

Standard Design

The standard designed is a simple, but attractive home page to welcome visitors.

Automated Feed

This automated option keeps your home page looking active as it shows upcoming events, recently added images, videos, members, etc..

Custom Design

With no navigational bar or footer this is a blank slate for a web designer. This home page option can be customized to look any way you want.

Right Side Bar

The Right Side Bar will appear on the right side of every page on your website. It can show special events, adds, feeds, and more.

Let Public See Comments Made on Images

On your image and video pages viewers can leave comments about your uploads. Logged in members will always be able to see comments. This will also allow visitors to see them too.

Show Login/Logout On Main Menu

If yes is selected, then the login/logout link will appear on the main navigational bar. If "No", then the login/logout link will appear on the footer.

Make Members List Private

If yes is selected, then only logged in members can see the members list.

Members Initial List Option

Set the Initial search order for the members list page. If "Updated Last" is chosen, the members that most recently updated their profile will be at the top of the list.

Head Shot Represents Member On List

If selected then the members head shot will appear on the members list and on their profile.

Avatar Represents Member On List

If selected then the avatar will appear on the members list and the head shot on their profile.

Category Traits

Extra searchable category traits will appear on the members registration form and edit profile page. These are created and managed on the Category Traits page.

CAPTCHA

These are those distorted or obscured letters for human verification that are place right before the submit button on forms. They are annoying, but CAPTCHA helps prevents auto spam programs from attacking your site.
